Blue Jeans Baby!!

Yes, I know -- talking about clothes on the Lord's Day is a little....tacky? Jesus told us not to worry about what to wear, but I think the moral of the story was to keep in mind at ALL TIMES that these "earthly indulgences" are not what will get us to the Kingdom. We are never to make anything an idol and ladies, that includes us and our shoe and clothing collection! But, having said all that, I will now talk about JEANS! I fell in love with skinny jeans last spring and have never looked back. If you wear them right you can wear them at any age, and they can be VERY flattering.

I love to wear them with either flats, flip flops, or boots (high and short). Now that fall is here I am HOPING that we might begin to see some cooler weather that will enable the donning of sweaters and boots, but as of right now it's still hot here and, unless you're going out at night, daytime wear is all about staying cool STILL! So here's my favorite sources for skinny jeans.

JC Penney's -- a.n.a -- about $50 but I always get them on sale and have never paid full price!

JCP has excellent sales most of the time and that's part of why they seem to keep surviving when other retailers are failing. But the thing I like about the above-mentioned brands at JCP is that they both come in petite sizes and they are an amazing fit for a little tiny person like me. I don't even have to roll a cuff if I don't want to and that's a big reason I prefer these two brands over others.
